The Role:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse who enjoys autonomy, is self directed and has a sound knowledge of community health. Based at our Nightcliff (Darwin) office, this position is the primary contact for people with MS in the Territory who need access to information, education and support in managing their MS.
Reporting to the Client Services Manager at the MS Society in Adelaide, S.A., the position is a sole practitioner role for people with MS, their family and support team living in the Northern Territory.
Training in immunotherapy is provided, but a sound knowledge in neurological nursing would be beneficial.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing education, training and support to NT clients to self administer injectable immunotherapy medications.
• Providing information on Multiple Sclerosis to clients, carers, and other stakeholders or agencies.
• Represent the MS Society as a sole practitioner in the Territory. 
A current SA driver’s licence and a satisfactory National Police Certificate are essential.
