The MS Society is very excited to announce that it is holding its inaugural "Batting for MS" Twenty 20 Celebrity Cricket Match on 25 October 2009, at Prospect Oval.

We want to fill the grounds with supporters to cheer on Jason "Dizzy" Gillespie as he captains the MS All-stars to victory against the Legends, captained by Greg Blewett. 

Joining in the match are local and national cricketers, elite sporting personalities and celebrities including , Erik Thomson,Wayne Phillips, Dean Jones, Doug Walters, Rod Phillips, Paul Rofe, Phil Smyth, Brett Maher, Rachael Sporn, Juliet Haslam and more

"Catch" our free children's entertainment including carnival rides, balloon twisters, clowns and Circo bats.

The adults will not miss out as they spend the afternoon watching a great game of cricket, listening to live music by Flirt and have a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to show off their cricketing skills by batting or bowling to one of the match players in the half time break.

At the conclusion of the game, the autographed player shirts will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Gates open from 12.00pm, match starts at 1.00pm
