Go for Gold Scholarship Application 2010

Applications are now invited for 2010

Our fifth 24hr Mega Swim for MS was held in February and was once again very successful having raised over $40,000!. The funds raised are used to directly benefit people with MS by funding the Go for Gold Scholarship program, Client Information Seminars, and the lap swimming program.

In order to benefit as many people with MS as possible, the Go for Gold Scholarships are capped to the value of $2000. Applicants can apply for a Scholarship in one of seven different categories: Education, Travel, The Arts, Music, Sport/Exercise, Employment and the new category of Home Improvement.

The Go for Gold Scholarships are intended to give worthy recipients the opportunity to pursue a dream and therefore have the chance to do or achieve something that would otherwise be difficult if not impossible.

The Go for Gold Scholarship applications are assessed against specific criteria and judged by a panel. Applicants will need to be specific about which scholarship they are applying for, the reason for the application and the amount of funds requested.

Winners have previously:- purchased laptop computers or had course fees paid for study or work, travelled to see long lost family or friends, funded minor home modifications or improvements, bought equipment or funded training to pursue a musical, artistic, sport or exercise interest.

Previous Go for Gold Scholarship winners are not eligible to apply and monies can only be used for the specified purpose.
