Come’n Try Art (drawing)
When: Thursdays 30 November & 7 December, 10.00am to 12.00pm
Where: The Mill Art Studio, 154 Angas Street
Classes will be led by accomplished practicing artist and Life Drawing Teacher Kirsty Martinsen. You can read Kirsty’s story in the current edition of Network, she is a painter with a BA in Visual Art from Uni SA and a Diploma of Painting and Drawing from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, where she studied on a scholarship from Arts SA (2000-2003). Kirsty's work revolves around the human form.
Week 1 - Pencil to Charcoal
Week 2 - Ink to Pastel
There will be demonstrations of drawing and the materials and lots of time for your own creative drawing. No experience is needed – this is your chance to discover ‘the artist within’.
