Wear Red for MS in May

Wear Red for MS in May

1st May 2020 - 31st May 2020

As we approach MS May and World MS Day on 30 May, you can help us to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis, a chronic condition affecting young adults all over the world. Throw on your best red, and encourage your workplace or community group to get involved all while raising funds for people living with multiple sclerosis.

MS is the most common chronic neurological condition affecting young adults in Australia. MS is an unpredictable condition of the central nervous system, affecting nerves within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. The symptoms associated with MS can have a major impact on daily living, employment and families. You can help us start the conversation by spreading the word to your colleagues, friends, team mates, and schools.

  • Throw a morning tea at your workplace, and encourage everyone to wear red for the day.
  • Get your friends and family together wearing your best red, and go out for lunch.
  • Speak to your children's school about having a red clothes day on Thursday 30 May for a gold coin donation.
  • Don't forget to snap a photo and post to social media with the hashtag #wearredforMS! Tag us @mssocietysant
