Inner Wheel Service Club supporting the MS Society

4th April 2018

Inner Wheel North East Sunset Service Club has donated $1,000 of their year's fundraising to the MS Society of SA and NT at a dinner attended by MSSANT Client Services Manager, Kate Mason on Monday 19 March.

Inner Wheel is a Women’s Service Club in the North East of Adelaide. As a service club they hold various events throughout the year to raise money for charities and causes, such as their annual shopping day, raffles, and film screenings. This year they have chosen to donate their fundraising to the MS Society to support people living with MS.

Inner Wheel President Alexandra James says, “This year we have chosen to donate to the MS Society as it has always been my charity of choice and one that I am now very fortunate to have worked for.”

“I was touched by MS when my year eight high school teacher suddenly got very sick. Eventually word got around that she had MS and I still remember watching her at school walking around with such dignity and pride."

Inner Wheel will continue to raise funds for the MS Society with their next movie screening fundraiser of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, at the Regal Theatre on Saturday 19 May, 3pm.

The MS Society would like to thank Inner Wheel for their generosity and continued service to people living with multiple sclerosis in SA and NT.
