Making a Difference

4th November 2015

You have probably seen the advertising for their film fundraisers and you may have even seen the 2015 The MSchievous Bunch Calendar but who is the MSchievous Bunch and what do they do?

They are a group of brave women from metro and country South Australia who live daily with MS. For these women, MS hasn’t beaten them. Instead, it has given them a passion to make a difference by helping others.

The MSchievous Bunch first came together to produce a calendar in the hopes of raising funds for the MS Society of SA & NT. After lots of hard work, their calendar was released and was a huge success, selling over 600 calendars!

Since then, they have organised and run film fundraisers, Mother’s day stalls and BBQs at Bunnings, spruiked for MS funds at Briscola tournaments and car show‘n’shine events and hosted jewellery parties.

They have raised over $14,000 so far and continue to raise more with their community fundraising events.

On May 21, the MSchievous Bunch was rewarded for their efforts when they were presented with the Premier’s Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service.

The award was presented by South Australia’s Disability Minister Tony Piccolo. It was a very special afternoon for the dedicated group of fundraisers as they enjoyed a lunch held in their honour.

Congratulations to the MSchievous Bunch on their well deserved award!
