MS Society announces the appointment of new President

MS Society SA & NT is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Sanders as our new Board President, to lead the Board in providing governance to the organisation and supporting our strategic direction.

Kerry has over 20 years of experience working across private and not-for-profit sectors in strategic leadership, marketing and communications management. Kerry is the Marketing and Business Development Director at Bentleys SA, helping businesses grow and achieve their objectives.

As a director on the MS Society SA & NT Board for more than two years, Kerry’s expertise has been pivotal in providing leadership to the MS Society on strategic planning, risk management and financial sustainability.

“I am honoured and excited to start in this new position as President of the MS Society Board. The MS Society is dedicated to providing information, education, connection, care and support to the 2,600 people living with MS across South Australia and Northern Territory,” said Kerry.

“I look forward to working with the Board to lead the organisation through this exciting period of growth and ultimately helping to achieve its goal that every person living with MS is accessing the highest standard of services and support.”

Chief Executive Officer, Tim Ryan, welcomed Kerry to her new position and also acknowledged the dedication and leadership of Christine Hahn who was on the Board for seven years, including in the position of Chair and interim CEO twice in that time.

“I’m pleased to formally welcome Kerry Sanders as the MS Society’s President. Kerry’s experience, skillset and passion for the cause will make her a great fit for this role, working alongside the Board directors to guide the future strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring we meet the needs of our clients” said Tim.
